New Audition Information Coming In
Fall of 2024! 

We can't wait for your audition!

Past Audition Information: 

 

Fall auditions will be taking place in person on September 12 and 13 from 6-10pm in the Mosse Humanities Building.

​

Callbacks will be held the evening of September 14 in the same location.

​

​

 

You can audition by signing up for a time slot using the link above, or by just walking in on either night of auditions!

If you choose to sign up prior to auditioning, please come 5-10 min early for your slot to fill out a quick form.

 

For the first round of auditions, we will have you do some warm ups to test your range. Then, you will sing the verse and chorus of a song of your choice.

Here are some audition tips:

​

  • If you have any beatboxing experience, or have a strong lower register, show it off! We are especially on the lookout for beatboxers and bases this semester.

​

  • Keep in mind that Pitches & Notes sings mostly pop songs. We accept any genre for auditions, but prefer pop.

 

  • Choose a song that you know well, and that showcases a range of your voice you are comfortable singing in.

 

  • Since we are an a cappella group, make sure you are ready to sing your audition song without a backing track.

 

  • Be confident! We are so excited to hear all your wonderful voices!
